Homosexual literature
Stephen Fry, in his book, Moab be my Washpot did say that he was able to read Homosexual Literature at the public library where he lived, in the east of England
Some of the authors he listed have been real discoveries. Norman Douglas was one of them.
I have read this book...440 pages, and found it worthy enough. But if you intend to read it because Mr Douglas was homosexual, to obtain any opinion of his on the subject...then, you will find that he does not. Maybe elsewhere. Another mention was Denton Welch, and although that (book) is not sexual either, He was a very fine writer and a joy to read.
This is a novel, a good one pure and simple, but not sexual. Mr Fry should have signposted more precisely.
